A social experiment of sorts...

I have spent the last few years writing, recording and self producing my début album. I released it on 7/7/11, but I have hardly sold any copies or managed to gain it any attention at all.

So, I have come up with a kind of social experiment.

A place to share...A place to rant about stuff...

I thought I would give blogging another go. So here it is! A place for me to express why I love the music that I love and why I feel so strongly about the music that I don't...Love (I am trying to be kind with my words, but I don't expect that will last).

I have called this blog 'Dharma-Vibes' because the word 'Dharma' (in the Buddhist sense) can be viewed to mean 'Truth' or 'True' and the word 'Vibes' is...Well...An abbreviation of Vibration, which is what sound does...
In my mind, the meaning is pretty self evident, but if it isn't clear to you, don't be shy and I will be happy to try to explain where I am coming from.

So, this will be a kind of musical review blog where I aim to talk about music I love and why I love it and also address the reasons why I loath much of today's modern popular music and generally feel emotionally and mentally violated when I am unlucky enough to hear it.

It will also be a place for me to talk about what I am up to musically myself and share and talk a bit about my own musical creations.
I'll probably also end up talking about random things that have caught my attention too...Who knows?

For now though, it's time to sleep...03:20am. Not so good when I have to get up early.
